The Webster Parish Sheriff's Office was closed Monday and did not return calls for comment. University Health told The Times that four individuals were hospitalized, two of whom remained in serious condition, one in critical condition and the other in stable condition as of Sunday.
The hospitalization of four individuals who were patrons at Muddy Bottoms ATV and Recreation Park on Saturday follows the park's pattern since opening in 2014 – when major events happen, people sometimes get hurt.Īccording to the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office, helicopters were called to the scene five times on Saturday, during the ATV park's Cajun "Muddy" Gras event that started on Friday and was scheduled through Monday.
